I found Mr Ibrahim Malek very friendly and approachable. He gave me all the required information about my surgical procedure.
Many thanks for your feedback. Best wishes. IAM
In April 2018 I attended the A & E Dept at the Maelor Hospital and was seen by Mr. Malek who performed an operation the following day to clear a serious infection of my right hip.
I would like to give my sincere thanks to Mr. Malek for the professional and polite way in which he dealt with my case. Although it was a very worrying time for me I had every confidence that he was doing his utmost to clear and heal the hip.
My thanks also go to his team of doctors and nurses on Pantomime Ward and the staff at the I.V. Clinic.
Best Wishes.
On behalf of my whole team, I would like to thank you for your feedback. It has been a tough journey for you but I can reassure that you will find us next to you whenever you need us. Best wishes. IAM
I saw Mr Malek at the Spire Yale Hospital, Wrexham. I was nervous about a possible hip replacement but Mr Malek quickly put me at ease with his very open and pleasant manner. After an examination and study of x-rays he diagnosed that I had an urgent requirement for attention. He went through the options in detail and answered any queries put to him by myself and my husband. We decided that a complete right hip replacement was necessary. Mr Malek was very professional.
Arrangements were made and I underwent surgery at the Spire Yale Hospital. The day before the surgery an unfortunate incident took place, not connected with Mr Malek or the hospital, but Mr Malek was able to give complete reassurance so that I felt completely confident in the man. Post operative attention from Mr Malek was excellent and I was discharged from hospital three days later. I have since seen him for a follow up examination and am completely satisfied. I have no pain and am walking well. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
The Spire Yale Hospital was very good, efficient, very clean and with helpful, cheerful staff. The food was varied and enjoyable. The staff worked very well together despite them all having different responsibilities. They worked as a team from top to bottom with every member of staff appearing to be well valued by the others.
The only downside was a slight mix up with the follow up appointment but this was resolved.
I do not think that you can look forward to illness but this experience was, for me, very rewarding.
Well done to Mr Malek and the Spire Yale Hospital, Wrexham.
I was absolutely delighted to see you in great spirit and without pain. Many thanks for your detailed feedback. Just like you, I am extremely delighted with the performance of our team at Spire Yale hospital with the quality of care we provide here. I have notified my team about the follow up hiccup we had and it has been resolved for any future appointments. Many thanks for your patience. Best wishes. IAM
After meeting Mr Malek I felt confident in going ahead with my total hip replacement . He was very caring and explained everything carefully . It is a week since my operation and I am walking well with hardly any pain. Mr Malek comes to see you both before and after the operation to make sure everything is going well. I went in for the operation on Monday and was back home Wednesday evening .
Great to hear that everything is going well after the procedure. Many thanks for your feedback. Best wishes and see you soon. IAM
Mr Malek gave me my total knee replacement in May 2018 - and throughout the whole procedure he personally ensured I was well informed, treated with care and sensitivity and the replacement has been absolutely great. I recovered well and was discharged quickly (within 48 hours). The scarring is barely visible and I am "ahead of expectations " on flexibility of new knee. Heading towards knee No.2 with total confidence and positivity.
Extremely delighted to hear about your recovery and experience of our team. Thanks for your kind words. Bet wishes. IAM
